Ulster hotel bomb
The IRA bomb an Ulster hotel. It is one three bombings in four days following local elections. An IRA car-bomb wrecked the Drumkeen Hotel
in South Belfast. There were no casualties, although damage was
widespread and a wedding reception in the hotel was ruined.
