Report on Royal Ulster Constabulary reform
The report on how to reform the Royal Ulster Constabulary - widely leaked in recent weeks - was finally published in full detail today. As expected, the names will change to the Northern Ireland Police Service, and the oath of alliegence will be changed. Chris Patten, who headed the commission for reform said it was crucial to recruit more Catholics to the force.
