Reagan aid to ‘contra’ rebels in Nicaragua
Reagan speaks about his proposal to send more than 14 million dollars worth of aid to the contra rebels who are trying to overthrow the Sandanista government in Nicaragua:"We have an obligation to be of help where we can,to freedom fighters and lovers of freedom and democracy from Afghanistan to Nicaragua".Journalist asks him if he is advocating the overthrow of the present government,Reagan says "Not if the present government were to turn round and say alright uncle,alright".
