Loyalist terrorist Johnny Adair released from Maze prison
One of Northern Ireland's most nortorious Loyalist terrorists, Johnny Adair, of the Ulster Freedom Fighters was released from the Maze Prison today. He'd served four years of a sixteen year sentence for directing terrorism. Adair was greeted by a crowd of cheering supporters as he left the jail. He's the 293rd prisoner to be released early under the terms of the Good Friday Agreement. He says he now supports the Peace Process.
