Kuwaiti oil wells burn after Gulf war
KUWAIT:Oil wells are left to burn by retreating Iraqi Forces causing millions of dollars in lost production and a toxin smoke that causes day to seem like night. Firefighters are trying to control the fires with water which is piped from the sea or driven in by large tankers,
To extinguish the fire they attempt pipe cutting and a device that plugs the wellhead.
