time in exile in England not completely wasted / my country
has gained (by the recent constitutional changes) /
definitely nearer to being what westerners would term a
democracy / my country hasn't made the strides one would
expect in the two years of my absence / hope progress can
now come about / first task back home will be to sign the
new agreement between Britain and Buganda / sure it's not
correct that some who have remained loyal to the British
government will be severely dealt with / will do my best to
cooperate fully with the British government;
