John Major Bosnia visit
John Major visits British troops of the IFOR force and local people
when he travelled to Banja Luka and Sipovo. Meanwhile, the US
has strongly denied a report that a deal has been
struck allowing Bosnian Serb leaders Radovan Karadzic and
General Ratko Mladic, both indicted for war crimes, to remain
at large. Bosnia's government has warned it may boycott
elections scheduled for September if both men are not captured
or given up, so endangering the future of the Dayton peace
process. C4N assesses the West's ability to see Bosnia's most
wanted men stand trial.
