In the midst of a cheering crowd as he rides through downtown Dallas, President John F. Kennedy falls before an assassin's bullets fired form a warehouse along the route of the motorcade.

The youngest man ever elected President of the United States, John Fitzgerald Kennedy was a best-selling author at 23, a war hero at 26, a U.S. Representative at 29, a Senator at 35. Bells toll and flags are lowered to half-mast in sorrowful tribute to the fourth President of the United States to lose his life to an assassin.
