Pope Paul VI Dies 1978

Pope Paul VI died on August 6th 1978.

Cardinal Luciani was elected to take his place after a fourth ballot on August 26th, taking the name John Paul I, but died on September 30th after only 33 days in office.

On October 16th Cardinal Karol Wojtyla of Poland became the first non-Italian Pope since 1542 after eight ballots. He chose the name John Paul II.

I believe that it was very depressing the he died a long time ago. He was a good man, but he did not have much brains. He was a interesting person. That is all.
