The British Empire has a new monarch, King George VI. As the Duke and Duchess of York, he and his wife, now Queen Elizabeth, as well as their children, Elizabeth and Margaret Rose, have been well known to the British public.
Their elder daughter, little Princess Elizabeth, now becomes the Heiress Presumptive.
