Keanu Reeves - Journey To Success
Born in Beirut, the son of a Chinese-Hawaiian father Keanu Reeves achieved stardom as a young actor in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure (1990), playing a goofy guitar-playing teenager.
Early on in his career, rather than play a range of two-dimensional characters, Reeves chose a difficult role with long-term friend River Phoenix in Gus Van Sant's film My Own Private Idaho (1991), playing a pair of gay street hustlers living tragic lives. He is, however, best known for his role in Point Break (1991) and The Matrix (1999).
