Hollywood Remembers Goldie Hawn

Goldie Hawn had an early start in show business, tap dancing since the age of three and making her stage debut as Juliet aged 16. She dropped out from drama school and moved to New York, working first in the chorus-line then as a go-go dancer. Four years later she became a regular on Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In from 1968 to 1970, popular for her bubbly personality and infectious giggle.

Her first film Cactus Flower (1969) won her an Oscar for best supporting actress and her second Private Benjamin (1980), which she also produced, won her a nomination for best actress.
