The Frank Sinatra Collection Volume 2

Frank Sinatra, or "Ol' Blue Eyes", as he was affectionately known, was born in 1915, the son of an Italian immigrant fireman. With The Hoboken Four, he won a radio competition, which led to spots as vocalist with the Harry James and Tommy Dorsey bands.

As a solo artist in the 1940s he became an idol to swooning bobby-soxers across America. The scrawny charismatic baritone had a silken charm like no other, which earned him the unchallenged title of “The Voice”.
