Hollywood Remembers Angie Dickinson

A beauty contestant from a tender age, Angie Dickinson made her way into Hollywood as a starlet in 1954 waiting for her big break: Rio Bravo by Howard Hawks (1959) with John Wayne and Dean Martin.

Thereafter she earned a solid reputation as a leading lady, and despite giving no outstanding performances, she remains bankable in both film and TV.

She was previously married to football star Gene Dickinson and to Burt Bacharah.
