America Goes All Out For The War Effort, 1942

Hollywood stars board trains heading for Washington D.C. with stops at any city whose citizens subscribe to at least one million dollars worth of War Bonds. 

Selling bonds for Uncle Sam are Hedy Lamarr, Irene Dunne, Ronald Colman and Greer Garson. Among those enlisting in the armed services are Clark Gable, Tyrone Power, James Stewart, heavyweight champion Joe Louis. President Roosevelt's son James is already in the Marine Corps; Franklin, Jr. in the Navy.  In Washington D.C., the drive for funds is launched when 50 stars gather on the steps of the Treasury Building.
