Academy Award Winners First 50 Years: Volume 10

During the first decade of the Academy Awards, the results were given to newspapers for publication at 11 p.m. on the night of the awards. From 1966 to 1977 Hollywood comes of age. No longer dominated by large studios diverse classics emerge with films like Funny Girl, Annie Hall, Jaws, Oliver and The Last Picture Show all gaining awards.
